#FruitChatter: This month, we challenge you to go beyond the traditional citrus enjoyment of oranges and give grapefruit a try! It's at peak flavor in January, so taste test and compare two of our favorite varieties: Texas Rio Start and Florida Ruby Red! If you like that traditional grapefruit punch, the Texas Rio Red is probably for you. You'll find a deeper red blush, a little more juice, and a more complex, tangy flavor with the Rio Star. If you enjoy more sweet overtones, then Ruby Red is your grapefruit! While its flavor still carrties the traditional grapefruit tang, many find it to be more smooth and mellow than other varieties.
