Are you affiliated with Sigona's Farmers Market?

Yes! This is a secret to our success. The markets started as a roadside fruit stand many years ago and over the years they evolved in to the farmers markets you enjoy today. Due to the expertise of the purchasing team at the market and their longstanding relationships with many of the best local farmers, they are able to source produce that literally wows people.

Am I able to order anything from Sigona's Farmers Market for my office?

Since our office delivery program is in a completely separate location from the Sigona’s Farmers Markets, we are unable to add products from the stores to your deliveries. If you are interested in having Sigona’s Farmers Market products delivered to your office (or home), you can order them on Instacart.

Can I add additional fruit to my basket?

Absolutely. Say you love bananas, and you’re just not getting enough in your basket! You can always add additional fruit to any basket order. Please call us at (650) 368-6992 or email us at officeorders@sigonas.com, 1 business day prior to delivery, to make these additions.

How long will a fruit, veggie, or cheese platter last?

Our fruit, veggie, and cheese platters are cut fresh every morning and are untreated, so please enjoy them the day they arrive!

Is the fruit ripe on arrival? How long will it last?

The more frequent your order, the more ripe your fruit baskets will be! If you receive a new basket every day, the fruit will be perfectly ripe and ready for your immediate enjoyment. If you receive a new fruit basket once a week, we like to provide fruit that is breaking, meaning that it will be green to ripe in color and will last you all week.

How do you decide what do goes in my fruit baskets?

Each week, the fruit assortment in your basket is carefully selected to ensure you are getting the best fruit variety that the season has to offer. Through this process, we have found that the overwhelming majority of our customers are very happy with the selection and seasonal variety in our fruit baskets. If you’re not totally delighted with the baskets you are getting, please call us at (650) 368-6992 or email us at officeorders@sigonas.com to talk about it. We’re always open to feedback.

Placing and Changing Orders

I need to place an order ASAP. Do you have an order deadline?

We ask that all orders please be solidified by 10:00 p.m., two business days prior to your delivery. For example, if you'd like a delivery on Wednesday, please submit your order or changes by 10:00 p.m. Monday night.

I need to change my order, but can’t figure out how to do so on the website. What should I do?

Please call us at (650) 368-6992 or simply email us at officeorders@sigonas.com, and we’ll make the change for you.

I really want your fruit, but I work with a company that has a preferred vendor. Do I have any options?

Sigona’s Office Deliveries has a lot of experience working with the best vendors in town. We might already have a relationship with your vendor. Please give us a call or email us and we will see if we can make arrangements to add our fruit baskets to their services.

I’m interested in ordering something you don’t carry. What should I do?

Let us know what you’re looking for – we might be able to pick it up for you! We are always looking for great ways to expand our service and welcome all product suggestions.

Do I have to order through the website?

No. You can also call us at (650) 368-6992 to place your order. However, if you would like regular service, we'll set you up with an online account so you can maintain your orders through this whizzy website that was developed to make life easy for you.

We are a large company and would like help deciding what's right for us. What do we do?

We have a dedicated team of fruit experts ready to help you determine what would be the right mix of products and frequency to keep your large team energized and happy. Call us at (650) 368-6992 and ask for Sales or send an email to our sales manager at bonnie@sigonas.com.

Do you do one-time deliveries?

Yes, we do! In addition to providing weekly fruit basket deliveries, we also love to provide you with fresh fruit and great snacks for special occasions. To order a one-time delivery, you’ll need to be in our current delivery area and there is a minimum order size of $30 to avoid a delivery fee of $10. Customers often use one-time deliveries of fruit, veggie, and cheese platters for meetings and occasions or as client gifts.

Delivery

Can I request a specific delivery time?

When we set up your order, we will initially ask for a 2 hour delivery window that works with your schedule. We make our best efforts to deliver within this window, although our delivery drivers are much busier in some time windows than others. Once your order becomes reoccurring, we can establish a set delivery route and your fruit will arrive around the same time each week.

Is there a delivery fee added to my order?

No. One of the great benefits of our service is that delivery is free for all orders over $30! All of our fruit baskets qualify for free delivery! If you choose to purchase a smaller order of say just a few pieces of fruit, then we do charge a $10 delivery fee (as long as you are in our service area). When you do the math of going to the store to get fruit for your team versus leaving it to us, we think you'll find the numbers favorable, especially when you factor in the amazingly delicious fruit that will be gently handled all the way to your snacking area.

When will you deliver to San Francisco or more of the East Bay?

It’s in the works! We appreciate the question and would love to serve you in these areas. We are very carefully expanding our service area to ensure we provide service that matches the quality of our products. In the East Bay we now deliver to Fremont, Hayward and Newark. If you let us know where you are, we'll be happy to let you know at the time we start serving your area. 

Do you ship your products? We have offices outside your direct delivery area.

At this time, we can ship our dried fruit and nuts anywhere in the country. This option is very popular because the flavor of our varieties of dried fruit is just as outstanding as our fresh fruit. Each variety is packaged in individual snack packs, making them a great “on-the-go” office snack. Call us at (650) 368-6992 to learn more about this option for your distant offices.

Managing Your Account

My team will all be out of the office next week. Can I skip a delivery?

Not a problem! Just visit our order management page here to adjust your delivery schedule.

How much do fruit prices fluctuate? We’re on a budget and changing the price we pay may be an issue with our controller.

You’re in luck – our fruit basket pricing is always constant! If you’d like to add additional fruit to your order, the prices of the add-on fruit will fluctuate slightly, depending on the season. You can always call or email us for the most up to date pricing information!

How can I see my invoices?

Click here on our website to see any invoice from any date. You can also call or email us any time, and we’ll send an invoice to you.

I’d like to know what’s going to be in my basket ahead of time. Is that possible?

Yes! The fruit in your basket is constantly changing with the season, so on a monthly basis we will provide you with a menu showing our best seasonal fruit predictions. If you’d like to know what will be in your basket ahead of time, please give us a call or email us any time.

The fruit arrives in a beautiful basket – do I return or reuse it?

We reuse the baskets! Each week, we will pick up your used baskets and replace them with your next order. If you are unable to return the basket to us, a $10 charge will be added to your order. This is one small way we try to reduce our environmental footprint by reusing supplies.

Can we pay by credit card?

Yes. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

Can we pay on account?

Yes. Once you have paid for your first 2 months of deliveries with a credit card, we can work with you to set up terms with a credit card back up.

I have a friend at another company that would like to receive your fruit at her office. Do you have a referral program?

Yes! We love referrals! Just send us an email with the new office’s contact information. If a successful order is placed, you’ll receive a free dried fruit snack basket!
